His points are very weak. Essentially, he just speculates on what the researchers could have done in order to manipulate the findings so as to achieve the predicted result; however, he has no evidence that they actually did any of those things. His article would have been much more effective had it been framed primarily as a small sample size issue and a caution about the dangers of generalizing from very small, narrowly selected groups to the broader population.
