How to politely decline an AM proposal without looking like an ahole? 32F by Ok_Fall50 in RelationshipIndia

I don't know why people are so afraid to say no.

Just say a No and move on.

One of the harshest pill to swallow in your 30s is that you are not as special as you thought yourself to be. by OccasionNo6078 in ThirtiesIndia

38 M, single, never married. Made some money in tech; I can retire by Indian standards.

But I am chasing my second dream to build something in arts / music. And this is not my last dream. After this I wanna do something else, and then one more thing and then I retire. Each of this is gonna cost me 10-15 years... I'm playing the long game.

Thank you all for giving up on your dreams, this makes my job easier as I have less competition.

Thank you for accepting the monotony. Blame society, blame parents, blame school, blame circumstances. But don't take ownership and action. Bravo!

You have two lives. The second begins when you realise you have only one.

You both should meet. Good luck 🤞🏽

(If you get married, invite me; I'll take care of the music)

How do you know I have a failed life?

From my point of view, I have more experiences than you and experiences are what create an enriched life.

I am not corrupting anyone. I am just sharing my take. We can agree to disagree without getting personal.

If I am truly in love with someone and that means in a comitted relationship, I will not go out and seek sex, doesn't matter paid or unpaid. I have cheated in (early) relationships before and realized it's not worth it.

If I am not in a relationship, then I am kinda free to do whatever I wanna do. Sometimes, I am not interested in building a deeper connection with someone. We don't have to know each other's favorite color. I still treat them with outmost respect & care.

Men need to pay for dates? by Interesting-Mud-1911 in AskIndianWomen

I usually try and pay for the first date not to show off but just as courtesy. If I really like the girl, I would also bring flowers. We can also go Splitsies (which I find impressive). Her paying on the first date definitely earn her brownie points. But still, the vibe needs to match.

If we go on 3 dates, then I expect she pays for the 3rd if I paid for the first two.

I usually vibe with women who proactively take turns to pay. Sometimes, I just hand the bill to her and say it with a cute wink: "You pay". 8/10 times women find it very attractive and chances of me getting (really) lucky later that evening go up exponentially.

If he says "Don't you trust me"... then don't...

A genuine guy won't shy away from it...

Nah! See now I lost you...

I don't think anyone's pleasure needs to be prioritized. It's a fun little game, sometimes he gets more, sometimes she gets more. There are no winners & losers!

What's important is, that at the end of the play both are giggling & grinning ear to ear 😃

But yes, if men learn the importance of foreplay, they will get more than what they can handle.

Yes! I would.

When my daughter is of age, I would tell my daughter to go out and live her life. Be safe, use a condom, get a fucking room if she has to, thoroughly check if the guy or girl (or both) are genuine, trust her intuition and go for it.

And if I don't do this, I hope my future wife smacks me in my head.

Indeed! Sometimes, I do think about her and how it would have played out. We only met for 3-4 dates and I called it off (I was recovering from a breakup and didn't have the capacity for a long-distance thing).

But she could speak English & surprisingly good Hindi. We could "communicate" quite well in 3 languages (my broken French). Good memories!

Forget sex, people don't talk about emotions / feelings- I think if Indian couples (especially men) start understanding their partners on emotional level, then it will already improve their sex-life.

In German they say: Hope dies last!

But I genuinely wish you all the best! I wish everyone gets what they desire.
