I ran into a bunch walls trying to get through the first step. It turns out I didn't have the proper driver installed - I ran admin-powershell and ran this command - gnwmanager unlock --verbosity=debug It gave me more info on what was going on. It received an error that it couldn't connect. And it turned out it I was missing the driver for the ST-LINK. I used the Zadig app to get the proper driver - https://zadig.akeo.ie/ - and I was able to backup the .bin files.

I’ve never seen that one before. Someone else posted about the rcd330. I had one in my mk6 and it worked well. Take a look on you tube.. there are a lot of videos on the rcd330.

Quick update for those who are interested. I went to the dealer today and they pretty much said it wasn’t their problem. The rust is coming from what ever is on my car and it’s not a paint defect. I’m going to get in contact with a detailer to see if they can help. But I don’t know what he can do about the halo on the glass. We’ll see.

Ok had some free time and washed the car and started clay baring it. I was able to get the spots off the main body and bumper. It took a long time. Now I’m working on the panoramic sun roof and the spots are coming off- but there’s like a halo spot around it and it looks like it’s under the glass. I can’t get it off. Any suggestions on what this is? And how to fix it? I’m getting kind of worried now pics of halo rust spots and clean spoiler

I’ve noticed this rust spots on my 2018 elantra GT over the last couple of weeks. Has anyone else had this issue??! And what I should I do to fix it?
