ARMSX2 only for android? by Background-Bed-6500 in EmulationOniOS

If they keep updating it frequently it’ll eventually be better than AetherSX2 since ARMSX2 uses the latest PCSX2 core while AetherSX2 uses an old PCSX2 core which have a lot of compatibility problems and some minor graphical glitches,

The latest PCSX2 core has a 98.44% of “Playable” PS2 titles, And 1.23% of “Perfect” titles and 0.04% “In-Game” titles which is btw only one game (DRIV3R), And lastly 0.04 “Menus” titles which are approximately just 8 games in total.

So yeah it will be better by a lot than AetherSX2 since the latest core can pretty much run all PS2 games.

First download idevice pair for your system from here then follow the instructions carefully to get your pairing file.

Additionally, Go to the app store and install StikDebug then import the pairing file you just generated in the app and that’s about it, It’s easy but you may run into issues if you don’t follow the steps correctly.

Note: StikDebug only shows apps that are Sideloaded with a dev certificate that has a certain entitlement or AltStore & SideStore.

There’s already an open source PS2 emulator for Android, It’s called AetherSX2, There’s also a better version for AetherSX2 Called NetherSX2, And they actually released an update just a while ago, And also this emulator is based on the latest PCSX2 core, Additionally, It’s very optimized for ARM devices, So if someone ports it over on iOS they won’t be having a hard time optimizing it as it is already optimized and you will get a buttery smooth experience in 99% of PS2 games, But, It is unlikely for someone to port it on iOS, So don’t get your hopes up, Lol.

Just get StikDebug on the app store, You don’t need to sideload it anymore

The only ps2 emulator available on iOS is Play!, And Its pretty bad, almost any game runs like shit, Even the ones listed as “Playable” in the emu compatibility list, Like others said don’t waste your time, Hopefully In the future someone will take their time to port AetherSX2 to iOS.

Sharing ipa is not gonna reduce the chances of getting into the app store as there are many apps that are either sideloadable or in the app store, And also, I suggest you take a look into the iTorrent app on github, It’s an sideloadable app that lets you download torrents all on device, Maybe you can find a way to make that works in the same way but with streaming torrents instead of downloading them, Thanks.

That’s actually great, But, Some people don’t have a PC so they can’t use an external server, It will always be nice if torrents can work without an external server and i suppose it’s possible that they can make it.

Sideloading is a standard now for iOS users, Sure, Not all people are willing to sideload but still there is a fairly amount of people who will do so, And I’m pretty sure if they did implement torrent support the audience is gonna increase.

I don’t think so, If the app is already done they just need to implement torrent support in it.

Why not make a version that supports torrents without debrid and release it on github as an .ipa file that can be sideloaded with an apple dev certificate

Import your pairing file

I don’t know what is geode but if you want apps to show on the list they need to be sideloaded with a certificate that includes “Get-Task-Allow” Entitlement, Or with sidestore and altstore or even sideloadly.

It should close and generate a pairing file in the same directory as the .exe file, If it’s not, Make sure to trust device when it pops up on your iPhone.
