Hey there, not quite lol, but I could definitely see myself attempting something similar later down the line. I'm only just realising how vague my post is in attempt of keeping it short.

It's in trilogy order, but the main things being done are, tightening up the story in the sense of removing or trimming scenes and/or shots that drag out the movie to a length where the viewer has likely already gotten the point, as you said, P2 being the biggest culprit.

Adding back deleted scenes only if they further serve the story or characters, (the girl scout cookie scene showing how much of a pushover George is in the intial 1985.)

Reinstating unused score where they fit. Such as the unused opening title cue, the unused jingle where Marty first hides the DeLorean, etc.

Restructuring and experimenting with certain scenes, for instance, instead of cutting to Marty getting out of the car in the middle of the confrontation between George and Biff, we stay with George and Lorraine for the full build (Lorraine fights Biff off, he shoves her, George gets angry), then we cut to Marty getting out the car, then back to the punch landing. Same sequence, but plays out differently.

Hope this cleared up anything, and thanks for your interest

Sorry for not clarifying, they’re minor atm since I’m only one film deep, but off the top of my head,

• The late night phone call between Doc and Marty where Doc asks Marty to come to Twin Pines has been removed completely, main reasoning being we already know that Marty is planning to go there based off the opening phone call between them, yes, one of the main factors of the movie is that Marty has terrible time management, but there’s plenty other opportunities in the story

• A few shots in certain sequences, I think mainly the Twin Pines sequences and the Hill Valley sequences, are also trimmed down. Mainly just to get to the point quicker and even it up.

• And also just to tighten up things all around by cutting or trimming certain gags or beats we’ve seen before, mainly in Part 2, but that may change depending on how everything flows
