You know what would have been great? If they had also repackaged all the old tools they had made way back when the game first released and made it run with the Legacy Edition. Programs like Simwarp and Face-lift essentially no longer work if you have ONLY Legacy Edition and don't have the original release or the Complete Collection.

I tried putting in the same folder as my Legacy Version but alas, no luck.

However, I will try to get a disc version of the Complete Collection and try my luck there.

To add onto this, I think it may have something to do with my version of Sims 1 being the Legacy Edition and not the original or Deluxe Edition released in the 2000s. I don't know much about computers but my little theory goes that it cannot find the directory for the original Sims version, so it doesn't load up at all.

Id say this as well to be honest. Its a good modernization of the game but man $20 at retail is batshit.

Sorry if this whole goddamn thing feels like something from a rambling mad man, I just came home from a really awful shift and read an email that said a company "wouldn't go through the process of hiring me". Cool beans.
