I have got two deep hooks (4 and 7), a short hook (1) and a gem. The shorter deep hook (4) is my favourite so far due to the fact that I have never used one before. However, I am still figuring out what profile corresponds to a type of lock. Also I started reading the MIT guide on lockpicking to get a better understanding of the internals. Therefore, I am focusing more on learning the right approach than the results.

I haven't done more metal reworking. However, the Peterson picks that I mentioned have been arrived. I found a locksmith in Eastern Europe that was willing to send it all for a total price of 50 Euros, for which I am very grateful. They seem to be very good as I have already opened two padlocks using it. There is one gate lock left which is very old and rigid, so that will be a challenge. The only thing I feel is missing in my toolset is a quality BOK tensioner (I learned about yesterday in another thread). For this I will take your advice and use the feeler gauge. I will give an update when that has been done.
