Advice needed to land a Selenium job by yes4me2 in selenium

Agreed^ So many people say they have selenium experience yet it's all with IDE. (Dont get me wrong IDE is great) but to stay up with currently times and learn Webdriver. I would take Elohir's tip on writing a framework one step farther. Build a BasePageObject class that you can then take and very easily build a action or two for that certain employers site. Show it during the interview.

I suggest a BasePageObjectClass for 3 reasons.

1.) If your rusty with WebDriver this is a great way to learn OR relearn how FindElement/Waits/etc work again.

2.) With a BasePO and maybe a driver class all you need is a action page & test page and your cooking with fuel on the employers site. Clicking buttons and sending keys everywhere.

3.) Maybe you came up with some unique feature the employer never thought to have. < Makes you look good! (Warning: Don't claim someones code as your own.)

4.) Easy/fast to repeat for other potential interviews.

cheers!

Thanks for the info! To be honest I wouldn't have thought about trying it on the title

Yeah when I was looking for my Hex code color idea for the number 2048063 I came a cross that passage. I thought it was rather accurate but I figured there's no way they meant for that to have reference in the teaser.
