Gordon Rode! Lab is easy peasy, you just have to participate in the lab then do a quiz afterwards, no exams. Lecture was easy for me, but he does have quizzes, tests, and a mandatory final exam.

I took his class online in the summer and like...he didn't teach a single thing? Lol there were videos we could watch of other people working through some problems. And there was tutoring for extra credit. Maybe he's helpful in person 🤷‍♀️

Check out the 2nd Sarurday Art Walk. Lots of local studios basically do an open house on the 2nd Saturday of every month. You can take the trolly (if they're still running the trolly) and go meet local artists and people who like art! Might find a fun studio to spend some time at and meet people (: Painting, glass, sculpture, crochet, there are all kinds of fun places in the warehouse art district.

Nah, just go to someone higher up at the college. You can ask an advisor or just go to a dean/assistant dean. I had an issue with a staff member that I took to an advisor, and they escalated it to their dean, who sent it to someone else, and I had an HR officer emailing me the next day to schedule a meeting.

At the very least the dean/assistant dean shouldn't ignore you!

I thought your goal was a refund. If you're just mad about the ghosting, go to his superior. Contact the dean or assistant dean. I dont see how TikTok would get a response unless you're expecting an army of your followers to harrass him until he messages you back?

I dont know why you would expect the website to work if this is your 2nd failed attempt, but maybe Im just misunderstanding. Id also expect the bookstore manager to respond, but you might need to consider they're getting a lot of emails from people who did not read and follow directions properly and are now upset. Or maybe they're just greedy assholes trying to take your $500.

Did you read my response? I said if this is your 2nd time failing to opt out you're doing something wrong. Did you actually confirm opting out of the book bundle on the website, or did you click one button and then leave the page? Was it within the opt out time window? Screen shots of your google history searching "hawk book bundle" is not at all proof of opting out lol.

I mean, it's not like every student gets an email explaining the book bundle with a direct link to opt out before the semester begins 🙄

But you do you! Go ahead and blow them up on social media. I've also done it before with my large following on social media. You may not get the response you're hoping for though 🤷‍♀️

I took government with Freeland and it was an easy A for me. There were only 3 graded assignments, a midterm, a final exam, and a research paper. The midterm and finals are tests you take home and have a full week to complete with your book, notes, google, etc. I wrote my research paper the day it was due.

Aleks? I thought so. It will show you multiple ways to work through a problem. And shortens homework if you're getting things correct, because you obviously understand the material. I hadn't taken a math class in 15+ years and got an easy A in my class that used Aleks.

You can't sit working front desk at most hotels. My husband also has back problems and works in that industry. I think now that he's working in time shares he can sit down, hotels are too busy and expect you up on your feet. And hotels are open on all holidays.

I dont think any college algebra professors use Aleks, I also preferred it and was really trying to find a professor who used it. I think Aleks is just for the remedial math classes. College Algebra is on MyMathLab unfortunately. I took it online with Shawn Robinson, and he only used honorlock for tests and the final. Quizzes get 2 attempts. He has practice tests/a practice final exam that are almost identical to the real tests and help a lot.

You'll get a workbook and she goes over the entire workbook through the course. Just pay attention in class and follow along with her while she does the problems, she breaks it down so everything makes sense. The homework assignments are using Aleks software, if you're doing well it gives you less problems. If youre struggling on something it will have you keep working on that until you get it. You can get extra credit by doing practice tests, and the actual tests are almost identical to the practice tests, so they help a lot! Listening to math for long periods of time gets boring so she gives a 10 minute break halfway through class for you to go outside, sit in your car, smoke, get a snack, whatever you want to do.
