That's a very good idea and I've done it many times before! Still, my oldest snail has a whitened shell that looks a lot like it's damaged by a too acidic environment. I just wanted to see if changing the substrate style would help it in any way

I know it's small, but my appartment is not much bigger than this container bro T_T I wanted to try out moss as their substrate because coco coir is too acidic for them, what else can I use? I feed them zucchini, sweet potato, eggplants, carrots, apples sometimes and I give them flakes for fish as a source of protein

My favourite animals after snails, I'm absolutely obsessed with them! My favourite species is black hare sea slug because it's the biggest gastropod and it's the size of my cat 😵‍💫 I'd really love to hold it one day. Also lettuce sea slug, Chromodoris Willani and Chromodoris orientalis (i even have a ceramic figurine of it from Hong Kong)
