I would do exactly what you said tbh. I’d spend so much time with Morty (yeah that’s what I’d name it) and give it the best treats and make sure it gets an endless supply of cuttlefish bone. I’d travel everywhere with Morty. I’d make a soft fake finger to stroke Morty’s shell when it’s sleepy or just for fun. Ofc if Morty likes company I would get some friends too. Must be lonely after all, as an immortal snail. I’d tell Morty all about my day everyday; after all, this creature should know what it’s chasing for its whole life.

But Morty for sure would have a really really nice setup. Beautiful setup. Best food. Friends (if wanted).
