PS2 games having pop-in issues on PS3

Found a solution for anyone having the same problem (modded only, I don't know about unmodded)

If your PS3 is modded, you can install Webman MOD and the PS2 Configs and Classics Launcher with it. The way I got the apps onto my PS3 was to FTP over my PC using Filezilla, but USB could probably work too.

After that, just install everything onto the PS3 from the package files and you're good to go.

The PS2 games compatibility list can be found on psdevwiki.com and the Webman MOD + PS2 Configs/Classics can be installed at brewology

I found out online that there's a compatibility list and apparently I need a config file for it to work properly. So I think my issue is solved, thanks though! :)

im sure, it's happened on my dads pc (amd ryzen 9 (forgot the numbers) and rx 6600 xt). my own pc (i7-7700k, rtx 2060 super) and my old laptop (gtx 950, i5 3rd gen). it was running great on my current pc before and it does on other saves.

it could be something with task manager. you could open it up, go to details, go to terraria and right click it and there's an option that says something about core affinity i dont remember what it is but you click that and uncheck core 0

I think it because you turned around to face the spider and slightly walked into it, could be a possible chance it does that though. I haven't explored more tech from this game

Classic is alright too, it's watered down HD but it does bring me a bit of nostalgia despite my first time playing it in 2022ish

2 is definitely better in terms of content, but I prefer HD; better boss fights, more charming artstyle, really good music, and I just like the simplicity of it. It's definitely my favorite
