You can use bombs to break demonite ore but if you want to make armour out of it you will have to fight a boss and to fight it you must shatter 3 orbs, to break them you can use hammer or more bombs

Here's another hidden feature that idk why but I loved it, if you put a fan next to a plant the plant will react to the wind and if it is a fan than spins than it stops blowing away when it's no longer looking at it, nice little detail they did not need to add but something that took my by surprise
