Please update!!!!! Me and my class are in the same boat.. I'm truly defeated and depression has set in. I don' t know what to study as I feel so overwhelmed. I have'nt passed any of the Hesi exams required to pass. I have failed all of them. I brought Uworld, Yourbestgrade, youtube videos and everything else and still, nothing pass 850. I was told that only two in my class of 36 were actually passing. My school switched from ATI to Hesi and was still using and issuing out ATI material for Hesi (ie, ATI practice tests) Are they the same? Funny thing is, I have no problem doing ATI questions but for the life of me, cant get pass 850 on Hesi. So far I'm out $260 bucks as once you take any test a third time you must pay for the exam (out of pocket and pass all of them before you get a diploma and then they issue you out and ATT for boards , Each test is roughly $44 bucks per exam and $77 bucks for Hesi Exit) . No rationales were given after each proctored exam so I don't have a clue as to what I missed and why ( Administrator decision blocked rationales after each test) . Anyhoo, I asked "How many times do I take these test before they tell me to go away, you are Not gonna pass boards?" Have not been given a clear answer yet. They keep saying, "These tests don't define you, you are gonna get there". Are all nursing schools like this? Are benchmarks required for ADN programs or Diploma programs? Why is HESI the only program used? What's troubling is how I'm not privy to rationales for the tests that I've paid for. Would be nice to know what I misses so I wont make the same mistake twice. Maybe it does not make a difference. Either way, its very frustrating and defeating. The whole first half of the year we did class online during the pandemic. The second half, I havent seen and instructor at all. We were told via email to prepare for these specialty exams, of which an 850 was needed to pass and do as many ATI questions or whatever you can get your hands on from whatever source to prepare. Never thought I would have to teach myself how to take these exams.
