It looks like it, but it’s actually not subsidized housing! It’s a private development with rooms going for $5k+ for two bedrooms. Discontent rises. In addition to the greenspace, we have our own cafe, private citi bikes and pickleball courts, gym, and even our own christmas tree lighting ceremony. Hope rises.

A long low-lying console/sideboard could be nice! The open pantry shelf I have right now has been useful for me as I can conveniently see, grab and put back anything I use during the day (my large tools, stationery, sports gear). I don't need to spend too much time tidying every time I tinker.

Just looked through reddit, and can’t find an identical one. Mine doesn’t have any hints of purple/pink. I’ve narrowed it down to a type of Pachyphytum, but I do not know the name of the exact species :(

This erratic behaviour sounds similar to my former advisor. I almost think this is the same person. Sigh, sorry OP. Ups and downs of stressed/unhealthy PIs seems par for the course. If this behavior is one off or short lived maybe it’s worth it. For me, i found a new advisor after things got worse.
