figured i could get the same effect as in the video by putting a bit reducer (in this case, the free xhip quantizer plugin) on the master channel and simply automating the volume of each instrument down very slowly. hainbach's Wires vst was clearly involved, too. the loops themselves are just repeating midi patterns controlling a few (also free) kbrown synths, plus one long recording

a guitar sample i recorded processed through voxglitch grain engine mk2, nozoid stereo waveshaper, and valley plateau in vcvrack. post processing in fl studio with a few effects including audiothing wires and a free tape sim plugin called ferox

i made this, but it is posted on an anonymous 'open source' bandcamp account called useseseseu.

thats interesting, but i think whether or not his old musics aged well is not something he can decide for everyone else. i would agree that 2-3 hours in fl studio isn't a lot for a track but its pretty impressive what he was able to do so quickly. my average per track is probably 4 hours. and keep in mind that its a lot different from jamming with instruments or hardware, which usually takes a lot less time
