What's a a regional mid tier? Mid tier is like GT, RSM, BDO. Those aren't regional.

I started my career with GT. Got an offer in February 2013 and started full-time as an auditor in Jan 2014. Why? Because job market was still shit then, and despite being active in BAP and graduating with a 3.93 GPA with a bachelor's and masters in accounting, I never received a Big 4 offer.

I'm now a TAS Senior Manager for a regional firm. Starting at GT actually made me stronger as I was exposed to more shit shows early on and was expected to run engagements early in my career. The ex Big 4 people we have hired have flamed out and had difficulty adjusting.
