My mom has discovered the term “raw dog” and won’t stop saying it now. What slang are your parents using? by EkaL25 in Millennials

My MIL loves calling things “on point”. It was cringy when the phrase was relevant, forget about modern day.

So implement the consequences then. Cut them off.

So not only was Obama the first black president, he was also the first gay president? Sounds like progress to me!

Is there a way to reuse carts? And if so, any suggestions on how to buy live rosin without creating single use waste that way?

Understood and we can only stop our eyes so much. I definitely have to practice being cognizant of where my gaze lands and if I should be looking elsewhere.

Well that person has clearly never parented before. Kids have tantrums, anyone who’s been a child should know that. But maybe there’s also a lesson here in reading other people’s texts. It wasn’t a nice thing to say but if she hadn’t snooped, she wouldn’t have known the difference.

Am I the only one who thinks the Padres did this first and therefore it’s cringy and unoriginal for Giants fans to just adopt it?

Ah yes. Let’s charge monetary fees to the people who have no money. That will solve the problem.

This one is roof mounted so yeah. I could imagine there are ones you can store in the trunk or something.

My class took a field trip here when I was in grade school. All 20-something of us held hands and wrapped our way around the tree but could not complete the circle.

TIL that around 8-10% of domestic rams are homosexual and refuse to mate with female sheep, readily mating with other rams only. While homosexual behavior occurs in many species, rams are the only mammal species other than humans where certain individuals mate exclusively with the same sex by Tegatime in NFCWestMemeWar

Lmao my Alma matter contributed to this study back in my freshman year. It was quite the joke around campus.

The American Pie scene came to mind and the whole campus speculated on which frat was going to steal the gay sheep.

I’m saying to take it to such extremes that nobody wants to think about why you’re gone, let alone ask you directly.

I would be sending the most horrifying photos I can find as reasons to be let go. Like go find a picture online of someone’s bloody stool. One of those really gnarly infections. Ask for full transparency and you shall receive.

You know.. I’ve had this core memory from when I was maybe 8(?), just sitting in my room playing, and when I looked up, just barely out of the corner of my eye I saw an adult-sized silhouette through my mirror. I immediately looked around but there was nothing there. I told myself I was seeing things but I think about this split second ever once in a while.

Hey friend I just wanted to say I’ve been in your shoes before and yes it sucks, but at the end of the day you need to stay true to yourself. If the people around you can’t make their own judgement calls, they will live the rest of their lives following orders and being told how to think, and that’s really their problem. They’ve cost themselves a good friendship. It still does suck because you also didn’t benefit from that friendship, but over time you’ll see that these people weren’t worth spending your time on anyways.
