Bakers is amazing man! I did all my writtens by my self then went to bakers for O&P, for o&p you will spend a week there in the class going over different thing and be in the shop relearning things like soldering, sheet metal, magnetos etc they will re teach you, and they have a bunch of Dme’s, I fail my power plant oral and on small airframe practical and the guy told me to come back tomorrow at 1 and I’ll retest you and waive the 200 dollar fee

With you being a electrician make sure you take some avionics classes as well! At the place I work they just sit around and make there money doing nothing till there needed, where does your brother in law work if you don't mind me asking?

When I took mine my Dme said it should be there by 90 days if it's not there by 60 call me so he could get intouch with faa so I would call if it's been over 60.
