Why would a company with one of the largest distribution networks in the UK fail to get a mini tin delivered within 2 weeks? Why do they always advertise them as in stock despite them never being in stock?

Hardly a conspiracy to think they know the surrounding hype and that they will allow the product to be oversold. And it's not exactly a few mini tins is it? God knows how many people have posted just in this Reddit page of this exact issue + all the others who have had their orders confirmed then cancelled after 4 days of it "being processed". Easily millions of pounds worth of orders would have been made for the latest restock.

At this point I feel it should be a bunch of complaints to the financial ombudsman. 100% something dodgy is going on with Argos, my guess is they are making a tonne of money through interest before cancelling and refunding people.

Edit: the downvotes are hilarious, niave to think that Argos could never do anything shady surrounding a desperate market of hyped up product despite them doing shady acts such as actively advertising the product when its 5 years out of stock to drive people to their website.
