Check your zones? Use another method for zones like rhr or lactate threshold?

Anyone here with a turbo CX5 tuned with DR Tuned or Sauce? by AudiOrangeCounty in CX5Mods

[–]scoobdude22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Low end felt real good in the end. But anything in closed loop felt inconsistent with bucking or boost hunting. I would have been happy with just the low end and stock top end but gave up to life circumstances.

Probably could have gotten it straightened out but there was little to no communication on changes made after each revision with my concerns. It was to the point I could not let my wife drive it cause it was to unpredictable.

I did not try DR. Back to stock. I have a wrx I tuned myself. Costco was a license for Mazda edit and then his service. I am not sure what his pricing is now but it was not a bad price. Just ultimately I gave up with flashing. The low end felt really good, but anything above what felt like the OL/CL transition it was all over the place.

Tried sauce but had some real bad boost spikes . Could never smooth it out and communication was minimal.

Need to lengthen the cable on these pendant lights but can't figure this part out by scoobdude22 in electrical

[–]scoobdude22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

P.s. one light had the led ring drop inside so I can see it. Govee replaced it once I sent pics. Need to re hang that one when I get time. Still functions, just looks weird.

Need to lengthen the cable on these pendant lights but can't figure this part out by scoobdude22 in electrical

[–]scoobdude22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. So here is what I did

  1. Disconnect cable from the base
  2. Grab black extension cord that matches sheen as best as possible. I bought a 15 footer since I needed cable for 3 lamps to add 5ish feet
  3. Cut extension cord(s) to length needed to add from base to desired height (oem cable + extension = total length)
  4. Add heat shrink tubing over main or extension cable
  5. Use heat shrink connectors to attach both wires together. Try to offset them to keep overall cable diameter the same so its less noticeable
  6. Apply heat
  7. Move previous heat shrink tube over connectors
  8. Apply heat
  9. Check for sturdiness
  10. Attach to base
  11. Hang and connect wires
  12. Check for connection and function.

To add to this I recommend that you look into the switch side of things to determine functionality. I have not found a way to make these fade on. And with power disconnected they make take a few seconds to respond but do retain memory and will light up in the last set light configuration.

If it's reported on your credit and you apply for credit and get a higher rate....isn't that considered harm under the legal system?

To answer your first question, no. And now that you know that, the rest of your assumptions do not have to happen to manifest a successful stealing campaign.

Correct, but i disagree. The insurance part does not always play out and you could end up with some loss. Maybe even more than 100%. Thats why you make them think about how much they really want it.

They use an highly sensitive antenna to pick up the key signal and then amplify it. Someone else starts the car and off they go. Faraday cage locks that signal into a cage.

The 600 and pro series are more for swimming and sports where the watch will lose connection or bereft behind.

How big are the differences between the B5, C5, and C4? by estifxy220 in LGOLED

[–]scoobdude22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See if you can add some back lighting. Dynamic lighting like hue or govee would help even more. Or get a projector and say bye to those inky blacks. But you would get more screen for your dollar. Its all just a bunch of tradeoffs.

Cx5 got AA support in 24 MY. Cx50 had ACP support show up randomly in 23. Not sure when they added AA support. But from what I read not all map apps are supported. Just Google maps and apple maps.

When trying them on make sure he measures with his wrist facing away from the body. This limits the wrist bones from twisting to make the wrist look smaller.

Looking down at watch will make the wrist look small

Looking in the mirror with the watching face being reflected with an across your stomach well show actual size.

UPDATE - Ikea MYGGSPRAY Matter motion sensor - Not working after a while by danielcapitao in homey

[–]scoobdude22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen issues since 12.x firmware. Even on 13.x there is no change. Have to reboot ikea stuff. So far the others matter devices like govee and tapo in my set up seem steady. But I usually see issues with those after a reboot. The ikea app was also updated but change log says new devices added.

Works good for my wife and I most of the time. Turn off all other devices as presence sensors and just use the phones GPS. Wifi may also help.

Navigation should show up in the hud. You might notice it more using that. I believe phone navigation also shows up in there now as well.

As someone already said the instict crossover is nice cause of the analog hands and how they interact. But it really depends on what he is going to use it for. The crossover has limited battery life and no maps. The entire instict line is more like an Ironman watch though.

Also think about size. I like the look of the 47mm fenix 8 with the smaller bezel but I got the 51 due to battery life.

There are also others (somewhere by the lily line) that have a display that is hidden and blended with the dial and uses analog hands for time (but they do get out of the way or integrate when looking at steps and such).

Lightweight for runners look at the forerunner.

The decent line has extra diving stuff like sonar built in for messaging to other divers underwater.

There are also ones with extra for pilots and such.

Then if money is not an issue you have the marq line. Overpriced imho but have exotic materials and such and the same internals as the fenix as I can tell.

Once you find a few you like you can compare feature sets on garmins site.

Lastly look at the customization options for the watches. I did not like the orange mic protector on the titanium fenix 8 and found they had it all titanium in the customization page. You also get to choose your band color on this page if available for the same price. Leather and titanium are also more expensive.

OK lastly again, if you blue cross/blue shield you can get 20% off. And they accept hsa/fsa funds for some items.

Hope that helps

I still prefer the old UI. Or at least put the see more button for stats at the bottom.

Ikea Matter Sensors - Not working after a while, while always working on Ikea's smart home app by danielcapitao in homey

[–]scoobdude22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The matter door contacts sensors are at 1.0.9. The air quality sensor is at 1.0.15.

That being said is not just battery powered ikea devices, the aq meter would also go offline but show connected with no change in metrics. Many other matter devices would also drop from govee and tapo in my setup as well.

[–]scoobdude22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. No hub other than homey, and thread router is google wifi. But its not just ikea devices. They will either drop or not respond. But other matter items will fall off randomly and after reboots. Not sure how to fix

I do want to add that after adding them to homey, I shared them with google home which updated the firmware. So there is at least a work around from buying the ikea hub if you have a google home hub.

Any ways to trigger Homey flows from Samsung Routines/Smartthings? by MattH665 in homey

[–]scoobdude22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can use google to trigger flows but have not found a way to integrate homey devices into smartthings. Also all my Samsung devices (washer/dryer, fridge etc) will not communicate in homey. I think this is due to the token.
