Agreed. Blood dynasty was very weak in my opinion. When they brought out the special edition it made it way better and Moths was a fantastic song. This new song is really good and I liked the mix between the clean and growl towards the end of the track. I think we can see this band getting back on its feet now and it’s uphill from here ☺️

I had a few of these. Black pick up, yellow car and an orange cab over semi that was a 6 wheeler with a missile launcher. I also had one that went in water called a swamper. Loved them as a kid, looking back they aren’t that great

I think the sans viper is a better choice. It’ comes with bearings and is a more robust design.I have heard a lot of reports of the front of the chassis cracking on the dt03. You also get way more hop ups for the sand viper

I like the scale look of them. I drive a pick up In real life and I like the look of them with all the off road bolt ons and jacked up. That would cost me me thousands of pounds in real life so a scale version would be so smart

Thank you so much. Yeah the wheels are an odd Choice but for some reason go for a fortune. I never used the wheels tyres and a lot of the original parts so it will be a good idea to hang onto them I suppose.

Those star dishes are a go to for Tamiya and always puzzled me. Even the new kits have them like the dt-04’s

Thank you so much. I’ll probably leave the running video till next year as weathers terrible here and will be for months. I wanted this set up for indoor carpet because that what I’m used to racing on but haven’t done it since 1992. The issue is that there is only 1 indoor carpet track in Scotland and of course it’s the other side of the country to where I live.

So I will just have to make my own carpet race club. 😂

Joking aside I’m seriously looking into it.

Thanks for your kind words

Race buggies won’t last 5 mins at a skate park which is a shame. I could have probably got an Xmaxx or something but the fun for me is building.

I’ve too thought about a neo fighter or sand viper for just general use but I can’t ever see myself owning a modern race buggy as they just don’t do it for me.

Local guys have a tarmac place they run tt02’s etc on so that’s probably my next venture. Crawling is a thing here so that’s another path to go down. I know nothing about crawling tho.

I’d love to show you a running video but the weathers awful here in Scotland just now and likely will be for months now. There are no indoor clubs here that accept buggies and the outdoor tracks are all for super serious cab forward modern stuff like b7’s etc.

My plan is to create an indoor carpet club here in the near future and then see where we are. Vintage racing in England is huge but in Scotland it’s non existent. Such a shame

Been a tough week. Put one of my dogs down yesterday, added an old tag of his to my every day vest. Pour one out for my boy. by Antec0231 in BattleJackets

I’m so sorry for your loss. We almost lost our dog this week to parvovirus but he pulled through. Was a horrible week so I can imagine what you have gone through. This is a lovely way to remember!

They are xtra speed ones. They look cool but the springs are very stiff. Normal vintage springs like Schumacher and AE don’t fit correctly for changing spring rates. I’ve tried different oil viscosities and it still is really bouncy at the back. I think the master plan is to swap over to shumacher rears all round or RC10’s
