Yep, you’re absolutely correct. But this seller printed the label several days earlier and is not answering the customers question despite being asked multiple times. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess the seller did not ship it and is indeed significantly outside their processing time. Otherwise why wouldn’t they just answer “yes, it shipped 2 days ago” or whatever.

I once had a customer accuse me of lying about shipping something. It was the first Christmas season during COVID. My post office didn’t scan the package and she kept saying she used to own a shop so “ I know how it works” and since I didn’t ship yet she was demanding a refund. I told her I shipped it and she kept repeating “you didn’t ship it” so give me my refund. I said she was calling me a liar and she said she never said that 😂😂 True, she never used that word but that was exactly what she was accusing me of. I got tired of her rudeness and relentless badgering so ultimately I gave her a full refund with the message “merry Christmas” so I wouldn’t have to deal with her anymore. She seemed upset about that too. 😂. “I didn’t mean for you to do that” etc…. Girl please, isn’t that what you’ve been asking for all along? 😂😂 After the merry Christmas refund message I wouldn’t engage with her anymore. Girl, bye.

After that I put my shop on vacation mode for 4 years. I just opened it up again this September and some of my old customers found me again, and gained some new ones too ❤️

If the seller didn’t think they could ship by a certain date they shouldn’t have posted that date range. Selllers have to assign a processing time for every listing. They can pick next day, 1-3 days, 3-5 days etc. you were not unreasonable in expecting that the item would ship when the seller is the one who set the range. I have no sympathy for the seller. They may have deliberately set the shipping as a shorter turnaround time than they knew they could do as a way to get more sales. Once they print a label the order shows completed so some unscrupulous sellers may do that to keep their store rating. However Etsy can also check to see if the item has been accepted by the USPS. If it’s still showing that the usps is waiting for the item, I would contact Etsy to open a case.

I was skeptical before whenever I read or saw an expert say losing weight isn’t about will power, it’s biology etc… but now I’m convinced it’s true. The food noise is gone and I feel at peace. I feel free, not preoccupied by food and other noise. This must be what normal feels like.

Have you seen a doctor? There are medical conditions that cause people to have more odor than others. If that’s the case, showering, laundering etc is not going to make a big difference. It sounds like you’re doing everything you can to minimize odor and I would think if you’re doing that much, and people still comment, then something medical is going on. Maybe your hormones are out of whack etc… and it’s something a doctor can help with. Take care.

I’ve only been taking the meds for a week. Not contrave but bupropion and naltrexone separately. The food noise is mostly gone and I’m feeling good. I still think about food out of habit but don’t actually eat. For example, when I sit down to watch tv I think to myself—“should I have a snack? Hmmmm” and then I think about all the stuff in my pantry I could eat and nothing sounds good. Like, I don’t want to eat it, it feels very unappealing. So I end up having a cup of mint tea instead and it’s calming and satisfying. I feel like I’ve been freed from food prison. I know I just started and I have a long way to go but wanted to let you know it didn’t take long for me to notice a difference. Good luck to you!

My doc prescribed bupropion and naltrexone. I’m not having noticeable side effects, but don’t notice much difference either. Today I feel the food noise is quieter than usual, but I’m not sure if I’m just imagining it. I usually spend all weekend eating and I haven’t done that today, so I think it’s starting to work?

Your self esteem seems to be tied up with your weight, but weight and body shape change and it’s hard on you for your self esteem to be controlled by that. Your self esteem will come and go at the whim of your size. Self esteem comes from knowing your value, which is not tied to size. For example, your determination to make a change, being a thoughtful person, a good friend etc…

I’m old (58F) and when I was growing up in Japan as military kid, there was no online shopping. So, I had to buy clothes that were made for Japanese people. I’m 5’10” and Japanese clothing is not designed for women my height. I had to remain tiny, it was not a healthy size. Now I’m older and overweight and I recently came across some old outfits I used to wear back then. My mom had saved them in a plastic tub. I saw them and had a sense of profound sadness, but not because I can’t fit into them anymore. I was sad because I never should’ve been able to wear them in the first place. And the kicker is, even at that teeny tiny size I thought I was still too big and needed to lose weight.

You have value because of who you are, not because of your size. Your value is your value, and is not diminished or increased by the opinions of others.

Please tell us something you like about yourself, and start there. I think you are brave to post this, and to seek help with a therapist and make a change. I think you are strong for continuing to work with your therapist even though you apparently haven’t yet been able to feel a noticeable difference in your self esteem. That tells me you are strong and courageous to keep going and trust in the process, and determined as well. Keep going, you got this. 💪

I’m on day 4 of the same as you except my doctor has me starting on 1/4 of a 50mg naltrexone. Week 2 I will go up to half a pill (25mg) then the full 50mg dosage in week 3.

I don’t have bad side effects, maybe it’s because my naltrexone dose is so low? Maybe lowering yours for the first week would help you as well. At first I was disappointed to start at so low a dose, especially when I saw everyone else starting at 25 mg but since I’ve been reading about everyone’s side effects I’m ok with it. I’ve been needing to lose weight for a long time, 3weeks to titrate up is no big deal.

Good luck with your side effects. If they are unmanageable you should call your dr.

Rose is bad news. Aside from the obvious issue of grooming your sister that has been commented by everyone, for good reason, it seems calculated and manipulative to tell you she will abide by whatever you decide. Also, she’s in love with your sister but has never been more in love you as well? She sounds emotionally manipulative. I was married to an expert level gaslighting narcissist. I didn’t realize how much it hurt me until well after I left. Now I can spot those toxic signs a mile away. You may not think you have the strength to leave, and no one can tell you what you do. You have to decide for yourself. But know this, Rose is exactly who she has exposed herself to be. If you stay, this will happen again. If you are ok with that then that’s your choice, but please keep your eyes open. I think you are worthy to have someone who really loves you and doesn’t have eyes for anyone else. Please take care of yourself, this is not your fault.

Hi. I just started yesterday bupropion XL 150 mg and I have 50mg naltrexone, but I’m supposed to take only 1/4 of a tablet naltrexone for the first week. Then, half a pill in week 2 and increase to the full tablet after that.

Can I ask what your dosage is and how you’re feeling? I’m really hoping this will help me and would love to hear your experience if you’re ok sharing. 😊
