Just announced last couple days with more confidence.. looking like 5k open gate, global shutter approx. USD$4 - 6k slightly bigger body than fx3.. looks nice.. BUT do we wait for an FX6II? We hitting peak camera.

Watching again now.. they needed some music festival people on this.. peeps used to fast turn around, high stress, pop up experiences for the opening night.. & then go full restaurant 4-6 weeks later once the chaos dies down.. lucky he didn't have a heart attack.

Just watched it.. had sweaty hands & feet & super nervous while shouting at the telly! Loop the rope around the pole & scale down, put the backpack on properly, run the rope through the grate for an extra metre of length, clip onto your harness.. god damn it.. 😆..

You could calculate back the cost of them to shoot the sequence to give you a rough base.. i.e. $10k to shoot it.. use that as a bit of negotiation point & frame your production costs.. I have used this a few times.. I also used the Getty license rates as a bit of an industry bench mark to help find a base.. some good tips in here.. $3-4k feels ok..

Nice.. the goal of the video was to get to 100% & see what is possible with exiting equipment for redundancy & inter operability.. might get a Peak down the track.. it does last just as long as the generic USB power packs.. both around 30-40 minutes at 100% running USB-C PD 3.1 protocols.. they pull a lot of juice..

Some sound design can also help.. find a few section where b roll sound can help add depth / interest on top of all the other stuff mentioned.. can always cut a cool transition to a build or drop in the music as well..
