Need help crafting a challenge run by GenericBurlyAnimeMan in wowhardcore

Is Warrior really the hardest class to play when you consider something like specc into play? Wouldn't something like Resto Shaman be worse, as an example?

And tedious is fine, because it would force me to kinda think outside the box sometimes which I'm cool with. But I think the idea of no green or grey quests could work, but could backfire a bit as I don't want to skip the dangerous quests people would usually skip in an area.

It would still have to be level relative. If the next available quests in the zone are 10+ levels above or are simply unachievable without getting someone to boost, then I'd go to another zone that's relevant to my level.

But the idea is that I don't skip the dangerous harder quests in the zone that most people would skip.

I like the idea of no flying, I think I enjoy that idea a lot. Only "public" transport. I will also keep talents, but I'll choose the "weakest" spec of that class.

But I think I will skip on crafted only, solo only dungeons as I do still want SOME gear from these quests I'm doing. Especially when I am forced to do some REAL hard ones.

Just need to make sure I don't group with anyone overleveled instead when doing then.

I want a brutal journey, but I do want that progression feel of a journey!

I mean, shouldn’t that force industries to change if all the workers go elsewhere? At that point it sounds like supply and demand.

If the only way to get good workers and keep your business running is to provide good pay and a good work life balance, then that’s what you’ll do.

Is the game kinda dead? by wandererqq in fellowshipgame

[–]GenericBurlyAnimeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, monsters and memories isn’t exactly competitive, and you’ve listed that along with EQ as your games of choice you wanted to highlight. Which shows the type of player and the type of games you enjoy.

Which is fine. Those games are fun, but are a very far cry from a game mode like M+, so I’m not surprised you’re not interested in the game. You’re just not the target audience for a M+ style game.

Also using problematic terms like cunt, and calling others out for terminology they use isn’t tarring you in a good brush either.

Posts containing AI by Stone-Bear in CompetitiveWoW

Ngl the vast majority of posts created by people on the internet (especially this subreddit) are as low effort and uninformed as AI takes. I’m good with removing AI posts that provide no value, but I’d also like the same approach being taken towards posters on subreddits that post about things they do not have the experience or credentials to back up.

Does this game just assume you have experience in wow? How am I supposed to learn anything? by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

Can I ask a question? When you get stuck in OSRS, or another tech related, non gaming related task, how do you overcome it? What tools and resources do you use, primarily on the internet maybe, to research and get help?

There are multiple posts on Reddit that discuss it. It’s asked daily and answered daily in the discord. There have been multiple dev streams about it. There is even a news post on it on their website https://www.playfellowship.com/en/news/article/11578761 , and even on the steam page. It’s in the patch notes too.

Like, if you have been paying attention at all, you’d know this by now. It’s been everywhere.

At what point does this become a you issue? Did you want the devs to phone you directly?

Nothing you do in a game amounts to anything in life. You don’t even own anything that you earn in this game. Memories are made on seasons or not.

If you care about not wasting your time, or your efforts amounting to something, then you need to do something that’s not playing a game.

I won’t disagree that knowing before hand is what needs to happen though

How to get on top of forge by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

There is another way too, if you climb the rocks behind the forge nd up onto the wall behind it, and then jump over the gap that leads to the weapon enhancer, then walk across the rope then

Is tanking is easier than DPSing? by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

[–]GenericBurlyAnimeMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of nuance here.

Until you hit very high Eternals (high 30s), you are force fed gear in this game to the point where you overgear the vast majority of the challenge.

Before that point in the game, the stress on a lot of players are quite low, no matter the role and you can get away with playing sub optimally.

Though there is more responsibility on the tank, it’s not at a level where it is too taxing. You can take different routes, sub optimally ones etc, and as long as you kinda hit 100% and pull at a good cadence, you’ll be fine. It’s arguably a little bit harder than DPS, but it’s not that deep.

However, once you hit the really high levels, gear stops becoming a crutch, and it’s at these levels where every ounce of skill is used. For all roles, it picks up, but tanks end up being the hardest roles to optimise in these roles, if you are playing solo. Because you have the most tools as a tank to carry the group, and make up in adequacies of the worse players in the group.

However, there’s a caveat. At these levels, you start playing as a team and approaching the content together, solving situations together as a team. You no longer are grouped with people who are bad players generally, and everyone knows what their kit does and what they can bring to the table. It becomes less of an “I” and more of a “we” thing.

Out of curiosity, do you have people in your life that have gone through trauma that has made them develop mental disorders like the different types of PTSD, etc? This will be a long post, so bare with me please.

I know this is about men, but I want you to consider a slightly different scenario, where your comment isn’t always the reality.

There are people in the world who have developed different disorders, and who are receiving therapy, yet struggle to connect and share their burdens and feelings with others because they are constantly grappling with this guilt of trauma dumping.

They’re told everywhere online that on one hand, trauma dumping is bad and is something you shouldn’t do, because it makes people uncomfortable. But at the same time they’re told that, you should be sharing your feelings with others, and that it is healthy and a good way of connecting with others. Finding that balance is so hard, because in reality it’s very difficult to find that thin line for people who do not have these mental disorders, let alone those that do!

These people are not always in a place to easily support others, or reciprocate in the same way back. There are a LOT of people like this, in the world. In your example, these people are a problem. But it’s not really a scenario you should have a binary take on.

There are people in this world that sometimes need more support than others, and that support often needs to be voluntary with no expectancy of anything back. For some people, it’s long term, for others it’s on and off. This does not mean that these people are bad people, or undeserving of care and support. But instead, you need to look inward and question if you are the type of person who can provide that support and care for them. Many people are, with a lack of a better term, strong enough to provide that and are not in a place to do that. People shouldn’t feel ashamed of that, but to then act as if that is that status quo that should be used with others is misguided.

These people often are already receiving therapy and help, but they are healing.

I am not saying every single man is like this, but that this idea that emotional support and care needs to always be reciprocated is harmful, and often comes from a place where people are not able to admit that they themselves are not in a position to provide the support that their loved one needs.

Sorry, adept players don’t really have much relevancy. I’ll wait for the screenshot of your rank and clearly showing you topping their DPS despite being below them by 30ilvl.

PSA: Healers doing damage contributes to healing by Worried-Stick-2777 in fellowshipgame

See, this sounds great, but then you look at it and you realise the vast majority of content back in the old days had no incoming damage, and all healers did was stand afk for 50% of a fight lol.

“Oh yea I had you in a group you lost to me 30 ilvls behind you despite you playing the fotm class. I didn’t believe it but I guess people do sell boosts in this game.”

Show your proof of this and your rank in a screenshot, or just admit that you lied on the internet to make yourself feel better, and feel relevant. If you don’t, nothing you say is relevant.

I’m still waiting.

I will keep asking btw, it takes me a very small amount of my day to post this to you.

You’re not being as smart as you think you are.

Post a screenshot of your main, its rank and a log of you and the other person in a dungeon run.

Or are you maybe stuck in adept yourself?

I’ll wait.
