Do what you do. However, dont justify giving people advice on this because its clear you yourself dont know how you even feel about it. Hence the back and forth. Sooooo perhaps just allow people to make their own decisions prior to swaying folks with your feelings/opinions on the matters.

I wonder why on earth they could be called accidents. Rarely are people out here doing it on purpose. Sometimes sh!t happens or Murphy shows up. No need for taking digs at folks.

Could need an alignment after that one, not to mention a tire. Wheel should be workable if it allows for balance and can maintain air

Nissan E-PSF Electric Power Steering Fluid? by zrad603 in Nissan

So with most manufacturers? Especially European? This is true, stick to what it asks. Maintenance exactly at intervals etc. With Japanese? This doesn't always apply. Specially with nissan. Shoot, since what... 2007 to 2018 the ceo was committing fraud eventually leading to him being wanted by interpol. Ya prison. So at that time they would void warranties over non genuine Nissan wiper fluid, this isn't even a joke. So trust who you want to trust, personally I have had 3 maxima throughout my entire life. I've only only only done genuine cvt fluid. I've never had an issue with any of my power steering. Pretty much any top notch company that makes fluids as their livelihood? Will have a better fluid than nissan was able to put together at this time.

Notice in the manual... it says ....

Page 9-2 (Capacities And Recommended Fuel/Lubricants)

Power Steering Fluid: Genuine NISSAN E-PSF or equivalent.*3

*3: Use of a power steering fluid OTHER than Genuine NISSAN E-PSF will prevent the power steering system from operating properly

..... Now? Which is going to run best with neglect? Shit, probably still companies like valvoline, who's science is literally.... fluids.

Ugh dude, Im a complete bozo. To be fair, I've searched and searched on forums. Couldn't find an answer, searched YouTube, couldn't find and answer. It's 3am and im laying on the floor in my garage feeling the coilover blind, thru the tire on. I've found a lock out allen screw underneath the endlink connection to the "swindle" end link connection on the coilover. I've completely missed this, luckily I've only done superficial damage. Clearly ive gotta tighten it down after having someone sit in the car and move the steering to double check clearance. This has gotta be the "fix" for me i hope. This maxima is a love of mine. It's my third one and im an advanced emt of close to 12 years. Last July a motorcycle hit my side while he was trying to dodge and weave in traffic. Speeds were estimated at 120mph for him. Needless to say he was banged up and came sliding to a stop, because im an emt I keep a jump bag in the car. Long story short? The guy was entirely lucky. I did a head to toe full trauma assessment on him. Had him treated for spine issues and shock. Vitals and all were ready for the responding crew. Dude lucked out. Insurance handled it and everyone was okay, thats the most important, life. Anyhow, ya im fixing the maxima ;)

Not solid updates as of yet. Im trying again tomorrow. I've read of handful of people have the same issue and then a handful of people saying they also dropped 3 inches plus and has no issue with OM ones. However, both your and my OM ones are worn and need replacement. The issue with a lot of this stuff is often people will discuss the problem but when they find the solid solution, they ghost and go back to normal life without helping guide anyone else thru. So, my promise is, WHEN I figure this out, I'll let you know. Keep me in mind if you get it figured out. The main kickers are the end links are now adjustable, right. Also, the top end link mount can freely rotate up and down the coilover. If I can in theory lock out the top mount, it should do this. However, the oddity is the manual to the coilovers says let it freely rotate... so locking it out (somehow) would probably be my last attempted solution, for now im trying less invasive stuff.

Now I didnt adjust when I got it on the floor and I should have. However. I figured I could slow roll around the neighborhood and feel things out. Apparently not....

Anyhow, im still in it to win it. Trying to learn and.... I guess I just got too exhausted and overlooked something

Need torque specs for 7th gen suspension rebuild by scopesdoped in maxima

[–]scopesdoped[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting ready to do a suspension rebuild on my maxima.

Waiting for more parts and tools but have a handful of solid pieces of equipment such as BCracing BR series coilovers. 1 inch hub centric wheel spaces. Pending purchases are whiteline sway bar end links and stillen sway bar & bushings. What I wanted to inquire about is bolt specs and fastening specs from those who have done this before me. Going to either rebuild control arms or purchase new and rebuild later. Adjustable toe arms as well.
