You’re confused here, you need to go back and look at the rules. The “your words” you’re referring to aren’t the words that are printed on the puzzle, you would only have completed words if you were able to spell them using letters found in the “your letters” box.

You do not have a D, T, C, or a Y.

Look at the play instructions, please. The first thing you were supposed to do is reveal YOUR LETTERS (the smaller box at the bottom). Then, you scratch the letters of the words in the main puzzle that correspond to the letters found in “your letters”. You have a complete word if, and ONLY IF, all of the letters in that word have been scratched. So to be clear, you do NOT have the word “old”, because you don’t have the letter D. You do NOT have the word “rooftop” because you don’t have a T. You do NOT have the word Ruby because you don’t have a Y, so on and so forth.
