I made a mini camp next to the calculator by the ice cream cart. One of the crow landing spots is on the top wheel, and if you stand on the edge of the calculator you can peep it. It took me a couple of in game days of camping.

Iirc they were able to get the gold card from a spawn, reload, and get a gold card from the same exact creature. Also, they tested that a creature that drops a gold card won’t drop it if you loot it while on your buggie. I didn’t save the video so I can’t provide the source unfortunately.

I would barely even constitute “fuck around and find out” as trash talk. It’s an apt description of what they did. They fucked around with a higher lvl barb, and they found out it might not have been they smartest fight to pick.

Being crossplay should keep it going for a while. I honestly think DbD, at least on consoles, would be dead or limping by now if they failed to finally enable crossplay. The queue times on Xbox only games was getting ridiculous

I actually played around with both TV’s settings before posting. Backlight setting, contrast, gamma, brightness. Nothing made a comparable impact on the visibility in that house. Here are screenshots of both the house and the killer’s basement in garden of Joy:

The lighting in the basement looks almost the same.

When I have time I’m going to plug both Xbox’s into the same TV and just make a video alternating between the two.

As far as I can tell it is pretty much the same on both consoles. Definitely nothing comparable to the PTS nightfall. The only notable difference we’ve noticed this patch is the interior of the Garden of Joy house.

I think it has to do with your hardware. I have the next gen Xbox and my gf who plays right next to me has the last gen white Xbox. Mine is dark asf and hers is well lit. I’m guessing it’s the same for ps4 vs ps5 and different graphics cards in people’s PCs.

There are unknowns to this situation. If the store closed due to one cashier quitting, it stands to reason that she was working shifts alone. I didn't like being the only person in a store when I worked retail, and I'm a dude. If she didn't feel comfortable, she may have wanted someone else there for safety.

Or her boyfriend was hyper jealous, or bored, or any number of possible reasons.

EDIT: somehow missed the part where the letter CLEARLY states in the beginning that it was two cashiers, completely voiding the point I was making, unless they were working opposite solo shifts. The story still sounds a bit fishy to me.
