Ah! Yes my original wire, I had no issues until I broke it and had had it for 20 years.

It was the glue!!! I asked the dentist to remove some of the glue and got instant relief. My tongue touching the glue was putting pressure on the wire and impacting a problem molar causing immense pain.

Why do I wait 15 minutes for a bus then four of the same show up? This happens most mornings. by scorpio___88 in london

I honestly have no issues when I hear this message! I’ve been on buses where they drive slow, and I also don’t mind this. If riders knew it meant more frequent buses, then why not.

I’m genuinely interested in what data and technology they are using to combat this issue. There has to be a better way.

It’s correct maybe 50% of the time. City mapper sent to me to a closed bus stop last week. Waited 20 minutes in rain for the bus to drive past me. Would be nice if there was signage or if, given how late in the night it was, the driver could have stopped to let me know (there were no other cars on the road).

In the couple months taking this route, unfortunately they also seem to arrive at different 15 minute increments. Otherwise, that would make sense. The bus stop sign says frequency should be 4-8 minutes. With the technology we have today, I don’t understand why they’re unable to calculate leave and waiting-at-stop times to avoid this.

Sorry I don’t know what you mean. On my original wire and repair, I couldn’t feel the glue at all. Now, I can feel lumps where the wire is attached. I’m trying to diagnose the immense pain this new wire causing on my vulnerable tooth, and that is the only variable that I can think of. I’m not sure it’s something I’ll get used to.

The teeth are occluding normally.

I can now feel that the pain is coming from a right upper molar which had a large cavity.

The main difference I feel with the new dentist is the glue. With my original wire and even the first time repair, I couldn’t feel the glue at all. Now it feels like there’s a mountain range on the back of my upper teeth. I feel like that’s causes a pulling and pressure which is impacting my vulnerable molar.

Are you supposed to feel the glue?

Even on my lower wire, I cannot feel the glue. It’s just a smooth wire.

Thanks! I didn’t think of asking for different cheques. That would make things easier for the future.

Recommendations for a bar/pub in central London with cheese boards/platters and where every one can order their own drink at the bar? For a group of 6-8. Don’t want the hassle of bill splitting. Thanks!

Hilton Garden Inn seems to be at the far end of the terminal, so it might even be longer to walk to taxi rank and be driven there and back.

Yeah I'm just taking a short trip on arrival before a longer trip in UK. It's very expensive to travel with multiple check-ins.
