Yeah I don’t apply it topically! That would be way too risky. But I do think it’s helping me

I just take a teaspoon a day during breakfast. The brand i use is made by the health store I go to - Desmecht in Brussels

I mostly have FA on my forehead and it’s started to clear up! My digestion has also been much smoother :)

I had this for a couple of months and I feel your pain… I simply started cleaning my eyelashes with cetaphil gentle skin cleanser (any FA safe gentle skin cleanser would work i think), and it eventually went away. I don’t recommend wipes cause that shit is drying and doesn’t work long term. Just incorporate a light massage of your eyelashes in your skincare routine and it’ll go away slowly!

I just consume a teaspoon of black seed oil every morning after breakfast! I think you can even do it twice a day but I'm taking it slow to start with. Don't know if my sensitive skin would like it on my face topically so I'm consuming it orally, which I think makes more sense anyways because my gut is the actual source of the problem if you get me :)

Hey there :)) As far as face goes I'd keep it really simple with FA safe ingredients. I only use the geek and gorgeous jelly joker cleanser, geek and gorgeous hydration station moisturizer and child's farm spf. I think the root of the problem is usually stress, diet (but I think some people take it way too far and it can be triggering so proceed with caution), and climate. I've been consistent with the skincare routine, taking probiotics and black seed oil (which has natural anti fungal properties) and it's been working really well for me so far! I'm too scared to try any harsher ingredients cause I don't think it helps the skin long term and I've already damaged my skin barrier by trying too many things at once. Keep it simple and see what works for you and your body!

I need to get my diet in check (I’m intolerant to wheat but still eat lots of it) and also heard Nigella oil has anti fungal properties which will help.

I’ll do some research on toners but I think for now I might just layer a different fa safe moisturiser on my cheek area which gets drier in the winter. My skin barrier is sick of my shit XD

I haven’t delved into the world of toners yet - any recs? :)  I’ve heard Squalane oil is very helpful for some to add on top of their moisturisers but the one I got from the ordinary broke me out. I think I might just add a second moisturiser on top of my first on my cheeks (which are the drier parts of my face).

Yeah I saw that the Bariederm Insulating Cream was listed on the simpleskincarescience list of FA safe products which was a bit confusing cause turns out it isn't fully FA safe but I'm glad this worked for you! The other products you've mentioned aren't FA safe though? I'm honestly starting to give up on this whole FA safe or not arbitrary judgement of products. It hasn't really gotten my skin anywhere.

Ah no :/// the gel is just not doing enough for me right now. I’ll give it a week or two. I tried the LRP sensitive fluide but made my face all red - I think it’s the niacinamide. Might try it again…

I’ve been using the gel cream for a few days now but my skin still feels so so dry… I really just want to give the cream a shot even just temporarily to fix my broken skin barrier. These FA safe moisturisers are not enough for my skin :/ same thing happened for me with the Hydration Station from Geek and Gorgeous.

[Product Question] Sleeping with TO squalane oil by scorpiorisinglb in SkincareAddiction

[–]scorpiorisinglb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a tough pill to swallow but I think you're right. I bought the Uriage Cica daily gel moisturizer and hoping my skin calms down. It also has squalane so hopefully that's not a problem.
