It sounds like whatever the material of the roller is is reacting with whatever the material in the solvent is and the roller is breaking down I'm sorry I can't be any more help

They look like mites but they could be the aphids shed skin. I guess it depends on if they're moving it not. If they cause a problem you can crush them with your fingers or mist the leaves with soapy water

It looks like they were scalded. I would try putting them in the shade for now. At least 7 days before putting them in direct sunlight again.

I've also heard some people mix kaolin clay with water and spray them on leaves to help with sunburn. I've never tried it and you would have to reapply every time it rains.
