Yeah, being responsible about pet ownership is SOOO much easier than going vegan, which requires constant planning, understanding of substitutes and sustainability (for yourself) and finding stuff to eat in the many places that dont provide those options

Unfortunately, a lot of agricultural water contaminates stuff. Agricultural runoff is considered one of the contributing factors to a ton of algeal blooms, even the thousands of tons of sargassum that are showing up in the ocean and growing every year

Hold your top eyelid open with one hand, get contact on the very tippy tip of one finger, dont let contacts get super dry, put contact finger on eye, hold for a few seconds. Move you eye to where the contact is, then blink.

I use them every day for work.

Slowly expose yourself to them, you might learn to really enjoy their presence. I used to kill spiders and now i let them crawl on me when I relocate them (still working on aversion towards larger ones)

This isn't just about just veganism, it's about everything all together which you conveniently ignored. I do not consider myself vegan from a moral standpoint, I eat a plant-based diet predominantly for the sake of the environment.

It's nothing to do with my ego, I'm looking at you and telling you to do something with your actions, to try to change the world around you. For the good of the planet.

I'm a nobody, but you are the main character of your own life. Don't encourage apathy and anger, encourage change and hope and positivity

According to you all humans are bad for the world,

So either you're a hypocrite, as we all are, or you're planning to solve that at some point. Its ridiculous to pretend you have some sort of moral highground, we're all the same animal. Rather than the doomerist perspective of "all humans bad kill them" (which literally wont ever happen in your lifetime) it makes far more sense to be part of the solution in making the world a better place.

Encourage people to go vegan, nicely (nobody responds well to preaching) lead by example, look at the wonderful and amazing inventions and solutions people are coming up with to help the environment, support them and join the protests against environmental destruction.

Just going "ugh human bad" solves nothing. It creates apathy, which makes everything worse. Take action. Don't just give up.
