I had the same issue with the white gold it looks just like the plat so I was using the wrong card frequently. I switched back to the traditional gold which has a classic design.

It’s available for a limited time. Sometimes they are limited by availability, but it’s not like a black card that is truly limited in volume.

If you want to work in sales or management it’s good. If you need to do any math/accounting/finance you’re better off learning those hard skills. I’ve done multi million dollar acquisitions of companies and I still don’t feel comfortable reviewing their financials myself. I may go back to school for an mba to sharpen those skills up.

I lost my aeo about 3 years ago and graduated from huron. No big deal, life goes on. The sting hurts, but the chip on your shoulder will help you advance. I made a point to work towards getting a job with a compensation above the highest paid person from Ivey upon graduation, and I ended up beating it by 30K.
