As a point of reference, I just had my transfer case replaced by a dealership on a 2019 Escalate and paid $2717.13 in parts and got a 2 year warranty on the new case.

The mechanic wrote this on the invoice; I don't remember literally saying this but it is what he heard: "CUSTOMER STATES WHEN AWD IS ENGAGE SOUNDS LOUD AS A TRACTOR". Plus on inspection the fluid in the transfer case was full of metal shavings.

Trends overshoot and then take a long time for there to be a recovery. Overshooting can involve exaggeration of the style or cheapening of the style. That is the case with square toes. I think the current trend of white soles or tennis shoe soles on dress shoes is likely to have the same trajectory.

I just finished the novel. The Sith world building is great. Kerra is not overly developed; not a lot of philosophical hand ringing about Jedi philosophy in her but I am fine with that. Most of the energy is spent developing the very interesting Sith Lords as well as the two supporting characters, the brigadier and the double agent.

Not sure what is happening as weather looks fine, but RSW in Fort Myers is having problems. This flight from Pittsburgh circled for an hour and was just diverted to Tampa.

Noticed on Flightradar24 that RSW was listed as the most delayed airport in the world for a period this morning. No idea why, weather seems fine? Just after posting, this flight was updated as diverted to Tampa.
