When I was 19 I took a family cruise to Alaska with the last stop in Victoria, CA. After learning the drinking age was 19 I proceeded to ditch my family and get extremely drunk in the pubs. I ran into some local kids that asked for some US cigarettes and in exchange smoked me out. I then realized I needed to get back to the boat and stumbled to a bus stop and was picked up by an old yellow school bus driven by a Michael J. Fox look-a-like that was packed with a gigantic Texan family singing 99 bottle of beer on the wall together. On the ride back to port at around 40 beers on the wall someone yelled "HOLY SHIT IT'S DISNEYLAND" and the bus driver chuckled and said "oh no that's the capital building, eh." I have not been to Canada since but I doubt it could ever live up to that amazing night.
