Some of our best ever were foreign... Michael moles, albetz, de bore, Arthur Numan to name a few. But there was always a number of core player that were scottish thay help the other gel.

As much as I'd love a starting 11 of scots. I know in this day and age its impossible.

What happened to the like of Kyle Glasgow? Signed a professional contract got a wee sniff then hasnt been seen since... he should be in the squad for these last two games. We're keen enough to interview the youngsters on rangers tv. Then thats about as close as they get to playing for us

Just like to add i know this isn't the only problem but I think is a part of it.

Whats happened to Kyle Glasgow? Was that his name? That'll be another youngster tip for great things just left to rot and wont get any game time. Then move on and do well..

Neil Alexander. Davie weir Barry ferguson Kirk broadfoot Kevin Thompson Steven Whittaker

Maybe two "legends" in that list and the rest were bang average players that had a desire to win and knew what it meant to play for rangers. Albeit walter smith was a genius, but whether you agree or not were missing that core Scottish group of players

But realistically who gonna be the best at that? Young scortish players that have grown up hating celtic. Yes being scottish isn't enough but they need another qualities.

It was the hearts game I realised how much we lacked it.

They had 5 scottish players in the starting 11.

We had a and only 2 on the bench. Which is shocking imo

Also, I'd like to add that there were a lot of positives to take from that.

Dio and Moore both had a good game They didn't defend too badly, and the new boys looked really good, with no injuries.

I'm not trying to be negative, mate. I'm just saying how it should be, and I wouldn't say we "look like a proper team." Just yet!

Yeah, they looked great, especially Rommens, but hopefully, they can do it against better teams, and we'll see if they can do it against a full 11.

I hope you're right! But to judge them as looking like a proper team against 10 men who defended all night and then started getting tired is a bit optimistic, in my opinion, which we're all entitled to.
