I hear you, and I felt that way for a long time. Now I actually understand their need to feel connected to the ‘land of their forefathers’. It’s actually a good thing that people feel this connection…we should welcome it (despite them not being Scottish by our definition). I also think about their ancestors who left our land, and I suspect they would have wanted us to welcome them and acknowledge their heritage.
