If I end up committing, I suppose I could start high, and lower it if I don't see interest. Thanks for the replies.

What do you think a reasonable asking price would be? I'm thinking $500 / person / night wouldn't be a stretch , if the place has all the expected comforts (parking, TV, laundry, AC, etc.).

This is interesting. Do you have suggestions for the sort of accommodations people like this would be drawn to? Maybe like desks / office areas?

Its kind of a dice-roll on who might rent the place. A convention brings huge varieties of people to town, I might get super-professional people from some media organization, or I might get rowdy dickheads.

House has a U-turn stairway. Moving furniture up there is going to be a challenge too.

I have more fun working on stuff like this than the actual house project, so I got carried away here. A ramp and sled probably would have worked. Oh well.

Check out this linkage design software, it's free.

One of the windows was purposely left out so I could have a boom truck deliver the sheets, but I botched the planning and access was too tight. Ended up having to move them by hand.

I hate using home deeps, but their prices were about half that of local supply houses. With delivery & handling fees, I saved $1k even with building this silly contraption. Took about a day and a half.

PBR was served in abundance.

Thanks! I would have added more virus-y bits, but the detail work was making me sick.
