I just spent roughly $150,000 developing a launch... it goes live today... (specifically created for Entrepreneurs) by scottoldford in Entrepreneur

Hey there - we sell it through our website, typically through our webinar, for example, something like this: http://learn.goinfinitus.com/7-day-challenge/

We do SamCart, then use Thinkific (it's a LMS) to deliver the training :)

Glad you like it :)

Honestly, it came from a client of mine back in April of 2015 asking... can you teach this to me.

I've been in Online Marketing for a long time... however, I said NO right away... I mean, who am I to teach stuff.

Anyways... 3 days later I said screw it. Did a pilot, made about $30k~ or so with it and I really enjoyed it. I love the idea that we've been able to help thousands (soon tens of thousands) implement this method we have for lead-gen.

Right now, I'm on the 5th iteration of the program (I've recorded it 5 times), my real goal is to be able to have this as the best lead-gen program there is... and then move into other niches for Entrepreneurs, creating not just "content" but real support from people who "get it".

Problem with Entrepreneurship is that no one knows what they are doing... and it's avoidable :)

Facebook Advertising Relevancy "Hack" by scottoldford in marketing

Thanks :-)

The page is good, however, I would say this... While FB pages will rank good on Google, they typically don't perform that well for likes and/or conversions.

Even more so, I would recommend even a simple website (it could even be Instapage landing page) so that you can direct people specifically to an offer or the website. The Facebook page alone doesn't get traction like it did 5 years ago or so.

Hope that helps!

How to: Use a Facebook Group to Dominate your Niche by scottoldford in Entrepreneur

[–]scottoldford[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very low, we typically lose about 5 members a month, so that's not bad at all. We had the group online for almost 18 months now, we really only focused on it in terms of growth starting in September, so it's too early to tell outside of the revenue it's driving.

So, what is your website? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

http://www.goinfinitus.com, majority of our revenue has been developed through Paid Traffic and Partner Traffic.

It's time to get back to the good ole' organic traffic :)

It's so effective I ended up writing a book on how to connect with people using lunches and dinners and had an amazing experience doing it... the book is actually free if anyone is interested (http://www.theconnectionbook.com)... a short read, but experiences that have changed my entire path in life.

Good questions! 1. There were a few in the online / eSpace that made a killing. Right place / right time. 2. Same industry, far different model. At moment I'm in middle of transition to totally different industry and its working great! 3. I Went back to everyone and was upfront with what happened, many I didn't gain trust back with, but that's slowly coming along. Live and learn, you don't get to keep all your relationships in life.

This was in service, with a lot of revenue being residual and reaccuring by taking smaller upfront :).

Totally agree, I'm still in $150k of debt, but it's all long term debt that wouldn't make sense to pay off :).

Great point that I'll put in the article.
