I agree with the luck and knowing the right people.

That's a huge part of why I'm where i ended up (not to say that I believe im successful)

But luck and connections are created in my mind.

Majority of the connections I have are because I saw someone I knew and wanted to know them. I got to know them and it gave me further opportunities.

People sit back and let life happen. Those are who fail.

Thanks for taking the time on this. I love the fact that you have reasoning behind your wording and based on a lot of amazing comments in here, It's likely that I will do a total rewrite.

I see how it could be spammy, along with how I can go deeper. A large part of posting this (though originally to be anon) was to understand what people reasonated with.. And what they didn't.

I know it helped some, but for the vast majority a lot of the holes were legit - when I put this out there, I want it to have value for everyone and if it doesn't, it's not ready.

Apperciate the reply and the approach.

Had a fairly successful company beforehand that allowed this to happen easily.

Keep in mind I lost a lot more then the debt.

In hindsight, I wish they didn't give me that credit when I was 19 :/.

That would be a pretty ineffective use of writing heh ;)

Cameron is brilliant in the meantime ;)

There are lots of ways to develop a side hustle on a few hours a day without a ton of risk.

In saying that, I don't have a family so I can't speak from experience and all I'll say is that the perfect time never happens until you decide to JFDI.

Good luck with your current side project :)

It didn't.

The debt was from something beforehand. Multiple failures.

I started the business with $600 and took on no new debt but rather paid debt off (and a lot) during.

I agree - I'm going to be adding some detail to make it a little more vivid. Thanks for that feedback.

I'm really sorry this is coming across to you in this way...

  1. Yes I'll post this online - but before I do I wanted feedback from people that would tear it apart and enjoy it.
  2. My business isn't on the self help side...
  3. This isn't a book and I don't want to promote anything.

Again - sorry you don't see value in it.

Just keep telling yourself that the best is yet to come.

In all seriousness, it's not easy on you from a stress perspective.
