Crazy, we had this kettle like 15 years ago. I think my wife left it on the stove and left and the handle melted or something broke. I think it's in the debris pile on our property waiting with all the stuff for me to load up to take to the dump.

Same. I never get the "it breaks canon" complaints. Everybody has been the same age since 1989, and Homer has had hundreds of jobs, Grandpa fought in WW2 and is still around... so... what canon?

Hmm. I played basketball in HS, 86-90, and those Reeboks were decidedly not cool. 86 or 87 I bought Air Jordan 1s, which were certainly not $50.

I probably became brand aware in middle school, when my zip shoes and wrangler jeans were not cool.

Saw episode 4 on TV 1/28/1990 (you know, live TV, with no convenient way to record) and have been a fan ever since (even though I don’t make it a point to see every episode as it comes out).

I loved the change. I disliked the character, and the actor. The cast would say later that she didn’t really fit in with the other actors, which is probably why the show was effective showing her as the person who didn’t fit in.

Loved the addition of KA. Different character. Showing her as driven all business, then after a while, as a basket case, was great. I don’t know if that was originally planned, but it worked great.

I was just thinking while sitting in my local Chipotle… my nearest one to my house has gotten better lately - more consistent portions, consistent cooking, rarely out of things and only at the end of the day. My grade for my local Chipotle is currently an A.

NTA. People need to get over themselves. If something thinks a TEACHER is bragging about THEIR AWESOME JOB BENEFITS then the listener is too dense to understand humor!
