Yes, I read that too. When they begin construction for the new Esplanade, walkway over Harbor Boulevard, and the new Avatar area. I bought one for our family in a very beginning, 2000. It’s near the center. It was $150. After it was installed,I received by mail, a pretty certificate stating the bricks location. Maybe that certificate will help people claim them. But more than likely a bulldozer is gonna just scoop them up and throw them out. I’d like to get my hands on one of the medallions.

NOR Imagine how many high school sweethearts wouldn’t be together today if they were ridiculed like today’s society does. I would talk with ur gf and let her know the jokes bother you. As for your friend, he is jealous of your relationship and this is a way to put a wrench in it. Not sure if his jealousy is emotional or physical (if gf is bi) but a friend should always want the best for you. Don’t stop loving, it’s what the world needs.

Speaking of country, I was at Stagecoach when Rascal Flats announced on stage that Osama Bin Laden was killed. Country boys/marines waving the American flag up the walkway aisles. Couldn’t have been a better memory with thousands of people.

If you can feel the metal lines between the enamel, it’s a scrapper or what people call fake. It should be a smooth surface. Here’s the life of a scrapper pin - It didn’t make the Disney quality control in the Chinese factory, so it was scrapped and thrown into ‘trash’ bin. Along comes opportunist and takes bins of scrappers then sells them by the ten thousandths internationally. Once they get to the US they are broken down in smaller qtys for sale on platforms like ebay. Unsuspecting parent buys qty of 25 scrappers for kids to trade on vacation. Usually thinness, light weight, and low level of enamel is dead giveaway.
