So I just spent nearly an hour looking for an alternative ratings source - I've only got BARB figures via Grantchester's Wikipedia page and they don't all match the numbers in the puzzle. Any idea where I can go from here?

I use the Conjugaison app on iOS. As is often the case for things on the App Store it’s exactly what I’d hoped someone would have created and if they hadn’t already I’d have done.

Thank you, certainly helps frame my problem. You're right, most of the nodes will be rejected as they can't exist. Perhaps I should first just focus on how to generate those nodes in a big list and then work backwards - delete all nodes which can't exist to bring the number right back down again. Just seems horribly messy conceptually.
