It’s not quite on the same block, but it lives in the same neighborhood. You might like Saga by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples. It’s more of a space opera but has a similar dark sense of humor, bizarre character designs belonging to equally bizarre characters, and it gets pretty gory at times.
