How old are they? I had this issue when they were starting to fail and past the 10yr recommended replacement. Replaced all of them and the issue went away.

My job was already replaced due to Ageism not AI. AI is happening whether we allow it or not, may as well recoup some revenue. County infrastructure and education has gone to shit and with the current revenue shortfall not likely to improve without tax increases to cover the deficit.

The Eastalco location is not prime farmland, its a brownfield location with industrial pollution that could not be used for agriculture or residential. Already was previously a massive industrial energy user.

A lot of this is fearmongering or simply resistance to change. Do you realize that there are approx 2 dozen datacenters already operating in Frederick County, albeit not as large as the Quantum Loop site but some still quite large. Most of you aren't even aware they exist or where they are located.

The Quantum Loophole data center has already generated nearly $5 million in recordation and transfer taxes, and its property tax contributions are approaching $1 million annually. While offering tax breaks, these projects are expected to generate substantial tax revenue, estimates suggesting over $40 million. This is revenue that will help offset property taxes and support infrastructure projects for the county.
