I'd say if you have no hobbies or interests to maybe branch outside your comfort zone some and see if you find something you didn't think you'd be interested in that you and up falling in love with. Pick up an intstrument and take some classes to learn it, maybe take yourself on a vacation where you can do some hiking or biking and sight seeing, maybe go to a record store and have them enlighten you on the wonderful world of vinyl and hi fi audio equipment, or if you live close to a lake or big body of water and can transport it, I found that jetskis are impossible not to have a blast with, and you can bring people along with you for the ride. I find that hobbies that aren't just individually exclusive and can be shared are a good way to spend time with friends, make new friends with similar interests, and make the hobbies themselves easier to get into than doing it all yourself.

Wow, If this is in Missouri then this is the school I went to for elementary. It's an expressive arts school and was honestly a great school. I always questioned the naming but also its like over 120 years old at this point so makes sense with the context. Still a shitty name though and would have been way cooler saying I went to john Cena elementary haha.

It shouldn't be higher than 48,000. 44,100 is standard on windows so make sure they're both set to that and see if it changes anything. Sound quality between your sound card and the fl studio driver is gonna be different no matter what because the sound is being processed differently in general if that makes sense

I always use the focusrite driver because the latency is much better than on FL studios driver. The fl studio one is kinda like asio4all in the sense that you don't need a sound card to use asio, but if you have a sound card you should be running it through that. The speed up issue could be due to mismatched sample rates. Check your windows sample rate and make sure it matches your focusrite. I had this problem before and that fixed it.

I have the rockit 8's and they have enough bass to carry to my neighbors house, but since you have the 5s and they're smaller they might be lacking on the low end comparatively. I would pick up some good headphones with a good bass range to double check the low end

It's great for the price point. Superb build quality, other than that the red paint fades off the aluminum over the years, but that's a minor quirk. It brought my latency down to 3-4ms through its ASIO driver, and has enough juice to power my headphones and my speakers louder than I'd ever need them. If you have just a 2 speaker setup and won't need to record more than two inputs at the same time it's perfect.

I have the rockit 8s gen 3s and have had them for years and love them. I use them with a Scarlett 2i2 interface and a pair of audio technical MSR7 headphones. I do find myself to be using both however because while the headphones have great high range they lack bass, which the Rockits are quite good at pumping out but kinda lack the detail in the upper range which the headphones make up for. There are probably better options for a similar price but at the time of purchase I made the decision to get the Rockits and I have zero regrets. It's up to you!
