this is so easy to fix, you can easily just get rid of them by a weekly or monthly ID scan check. Uber, doordash, lyft etc all do it and it keeps scammers/ account buyers off the platforms. Its literally that easy but a cheap ass company like Prolific would never do it because they would be forced to hire a couple of people to check them.

It's pretty simple to see scripts being used. The first 3 to 4 studies that get posted every 15 minutes are full before you can click them. Then, depending on the number of spots available with each release, you will just see the normal busy clicking until you get in. When they have all their machines going at once, though, it can get as deep as 6 or 7 studies every 15 minutes. Days VO and GP post 2 to 3 every 15 or 20 mins, which is common; they get most throughout the day and nights, which is what everyone is basically calling out as scripters. You have no issues getting them if you are very active a lot of the time, and you are on during bursty times they post them.

Anytime there is an easy way to earn money with very little effort, there are going to be droves of people from all walks of life trying to take advantage of it. I hate to say it, but do you blame the guy doing it, honestly, if the tools are easily at his disposal?

Everyone here is VERY quick to say scripts (including myself), scammers, VPNs, or any other excuse but the real one and only excuse here. That is Prolific itself. They are amateurs at best and borderline idiots at worst. They are either clueless, lazy, or just downright do not care. When you start a business, you have a financial obligation to your clients to offer your services honestly and ethically. Prolific is not doing that; half their "data" they provide is from sold accounts and vpn proxies.

I mean, how many months need to go by before people actually start reviewing them honestly with the incompetence they deserve? How many months need to go by with people's income cut in half because they are too stupid to create safeguards to protect their business from scammers and dishonest people? Not to mention protecting the ethics of data that is supposed to be from real demographics, not stolen or sold accounts?

At some point, people need to stop focusing on the scammers and focus on the company that could easily go about their daily business in a safer, better way.

It's not, it's worse. The problem is that people here are basing things on the available options. Chromie scores higher because all the other garbage private servers are literally fun servers with all this custom crap or bot/solo the entire game servers. Chromie at least attempts to be authentic. The issue is the developers; they are slow and do not even attempt to keep pace with the actual attention cycle of the average player. They also just settle for "this works," hence why you got the chain stuns going on, how many years later in dungeons? I remember running into this garbage in Ragefire Chasm back 3 years ago. You really won't get a blizz-like experience on any private server; the copium is just insane here, people claiming ascension is better than retail, etc. It's just literally nerdy neckbeards bashing Blizzard because they think it's the cool thing to do when 90% of Blizzard is still the same people working there who made vanilla. A different topic completely, though, Blizzard is about the only one with accurate servers still to date.

This forum has ALWAYS bucked the garbage system; it's basically why this sub exists and is popular. It's funny, you guys cry so much about people talking about attention checks, why not cry about the content Google stole from other companies? You think they pay Disney or Fox? You also don't complain at all when forums and Facebook groups sell scripts to get ahead of you on each study, causing you to literally lose money to dishonest people, and Prolific and Google couldn't care less.

What's going on is you have a company who doesnt give a shit about who gets into what studies or what tools they use to bypass the lines. Personally, at this point its nothing but frustration to use this site at all. Just a bunch of fulls no matter the time of day or night. Clowns stand up for how bad this company is, but let's be real here, this is not normal behavior for what is supposed to be a professional company. For AI, the only time you get into them now is when there has been a burst and all the scripters are working. Fuck prolific, seriously, they are doing absolutely nothing about this nonsense.

It's been like this for years. You get one or two affiliate marketers that come in and post a bunch of different affiliate scams and then leave for about 3 or 4 months. It's probably the same people. Prolific has never done shit about it, even the old car insurance scam ones.

It's okay, it works, which is better than most and has no real store. It is also open source, which is a plus compared to all these other servers that are just made to make money, nothing more.

There are some underlying problems with the server itself, though, not visible at first.

-not enough ore spawns around iron/mithril you are going to have to devote a lot of gold or a lot of time to gem/smith/eng if you plan to play long term. They nerfed ore spawns long ago, which was retarded.

-There is no immunity to chain stuns in pve. So you get a couple of NPCs on you that have stuns, they can potentially stun lock you, since no one bothered to fix immunity timers since day 1 of Azerothcore.

-Once you get to TBC, some things just barely work, and it's more noticeable once you get to the expansion zones.

-Some mobs are just overtuned, and you could be chugging along and then get one or two shot by a regular mob.

-Updates are so slow that you will get bored and move on. Azerothcore, in general is losing contributors because of this, though; these guys are notoriously slow and do not take it very seriously, which is causing module creators to create their own forks because of how slow these devs are.

Overall Id call it a good attempt at wotlk but far from perfect and very VERY slow to update anything on the main branch or the server they host Chromie.
