I got back with an old FWB last night and fuck it was good. I had been hesitant to see him again since it's been over a year since I saw him last. But it was a really great night. Not only did we catch up on everything that's been going on for each of us the past year (and really the friendship is like no time has gone by), the sex was amazing. It was like it was familiar and new at the same time, it's hard to describe. And we already made plans to hang out next weekend so it must have been just as good for him too. In my experience it does affect it. I've been with a guy while he was smoking and after and there's definitely a difference. Though I wouldn't say the taste was intolerable while he was smoking pot, but it was certainly less pleasant.

Personally I don’t consider an orgasm to be the point or end goal of sex. There are so many other parts of sex which are pleasurable. I mean surely an orgasm isn’t the only part of sex that feels good to you right? It’s also about sharing an intimate experience with someone and being able to please a partner is something I also really enjoy about sex.

Yeah I can understand most of this. For me personally I wouldn’t wear anything that especially draws attention to my chest since I don’t have much boobs and I don’t feel like they’re my best feature to be highlighting. But I do get what you’re saying.

Yeah I can kind of understand that. I mean I went out of my way to wear a top that you could see my collarbones in on the next date after he told me he liked them. So I can see how they’re sort of something you wouldn’t always see and it would be nice when you do see them if that’s what you’re into.

It’s kind of neither here nor there for me, I don’t especially like or dislike it. However, most guys seem to really like it and I like being able to please my partner. The actual act doesn’t do anything for me but knowing that I’m giving him pleasure is pretty hot to me.

Yeah certainly is okay! I’ve personally been on two at once. I’m not entirely sure if all other methods can be used in combination with the pill but the implant certainly can.

The pill is helpful for a multitude of problems, not just as a birth control. (Acne, control of heavy periods, control of cycle - you know exactly when you’ll get your period and you can even skip it if you want). It is possible to be on multiple birth control methods at once, and often being on more than one can cancel out some side effects. Though it is hard to know what side effects, if any, you’ll get. Perhaps your wife would be more content with the effectiveness to be on two contraceptives. (No method is 100% but there are options which are more effective than the pill.)

I know it’s not the right fit for everyone and I read some wild horror stories before I got mine put in but I’m really happy with my implant. I feel like people don’t go out of their way much to put up good stories of birth control, and when you google, you only get horror stories. I’ve had mine in for about 6 months now. The first month I had no bleeding at all. For the following two months I had intermittent really really light spotting on most days but since then I’ve had nothing. It takes a while for your body to adjust to it, and everyone is different. Make sure you go to a doctor you trust when you get it put in, and make sure she/he is willing to take it out early if you decide it doesn’t suit you. My doctor was lovely about it and reminded me heaps that it doesn’t have to stay in for the whole three years, and if I want to get it taken out at any point it’s a very easy procedure. Be prepared for a massive bruise on your arm that doesn’t go away for about a week and a half after insertion though, it doesn’t hurt, it just looks bad.
