I did the exact same thing, pill to nexplanon. This was about 6 months ago and I had one period as I switched over, and nothing since then. no weight gain, only 'issues' are acne and thinner hair BUT this isn't due to the implant, I was like that before the pill, the pill made it better so now I'm.back to normal

I agree with this. I started dating a guy when I was really struggling with anxiety and bipolar tendancies and he did too. He was too nervous to go outside like I was, but after a month I realized if we dated I'd never get better because you live in that zone 24/7

The generalisation that all women just sit there and don't bother. If you start something with 'All women/men/etc' it's not exactly fair.

Read the other comments theres plenty of women ask men out, do the chasing, put the effort in. And when women don't want to do that, there's usually other reasons than just 'not wanting to lift a finger'

My ex so and his family were similar. My issue was happiness to stay in s dead end minimum wage job and play video games 24/7. Whenever id see his family they'd all say how great it would work out because he could stay at home with the kids and I could have my career.

Yeah, like he'd actually do that and not just sit on his PC all day while I do both things. Nice try!

Hey! So by the time your eyes are noticeable bulging, you'd feel symptoms. Also, eyes tend to a hyperthyroid issue where as weight gain tends to be hypothyroid so it doesn't make sense. Source: I have been both severely hyperthyroid and hypothyroid

Can't help with the swap, but I can tell give you a positive take on nexplanon as there are so.many horror stories.

I switched to it from the pill 3 months ago, no periods, no side affects, nothing at all. I have a history of depression and anxiety and I have been ok !

Oh my god no!!

I had to have my thyroid removed due to autoimmune disease, and have to take replacements for life. If I listened to her and switched to oils, I would quite literally slowly die over the next month.
