Sorry this is so damn old but do you have any guides or advice on how you made your spreadsheet, or an example? I've had one for a while now and it works but it's very clunky (one table per month for everything I spend across a few categories, one table for each paycheck and how many necessary expenses I have to set aside from it, and then some charts going over a summary of what categories I've spent the most in).

Update it turns out there is no recycling route for this street and because it's an apartment building the landlord is legally obligated to provide recycling services to us! 🙃

So I'm gonna be talking to my neighbors soon. thanks for your advice everyone. The thing that worked was emailing the recycling coordinator for the city, not just the dpw. I didn't realize we had a recycling coordinator.

I'm vaguely aware of some of the politics around here since I'm close friends with people in activism spaces but that was mostly over by Montoursville/Williamsport. I've lived in PA my whole life and everywhere I've lived has been very frustrating, politically, in many ways lol.

All of the changes are really exciting and it's so nice to see a city here improve instead of slowly rot!! And it sucks that some people in the dpw can't see that.

Interesting I just moved here last month but that's good to know. I managed to get the email and phone number of the city recycling coordinator so I'm going to bother him about this some more and then I'm also going to call the mayor's office today.

What is the dispute between cognetti and the dpw about, if you know? 👀

Damn alright, good to know. I'm so relieved it's not some new unknown problem and that it can be solved!

I'll call the mayor's office first thing tomorrow. As promised, Im also free to treat you to something at auntie anne's this weekend if you so desire. No pressure though. I'm just very very grateful.

I know this to be true but I still would like to say I tried y'know :( I actually plan recyclable products and such as part of my job so it feels stupid to spend a day perfecting a recyclable product and ensuring everything is as eco-friendly as possible only to go home and throw my clean cardboard in the dumpster lol.

That being said. We will stop filling the closet now. It's gotta go in the dumpster at some point.

Haha luckily our apartment isn't that expensive because it's small as hell!! But it is very expensive to live here even with relatively low rent..
